Hilton Garden Inn San Jose/Milpitas at 30 Ranch Drive, Milpitas, California.

The best thing about this hotel is the employees . They are without exception 5 star. The hotel itself is fine but the web site is very misleading and inaccurate
The pool wasn't open and wouldn't have been heated apparently even if it had been open. Breakfast wasn't included and I'm sorry but $15 for breakfast just makes me crazy, especially at a garden inn
But the staff was awesome.

Hilton is my preferred hotel chain because they are consistent with their service, cleanliness, and amenities no matter where you go. This location does not live up to my expectations. The room is not maintained as well as the Hilton's I usually stay at. The outside of door had lots of dark scuff marks. May seem petty but first impressions are everything and set the tone. The room is decorated in tones of brown and are outdated in my opinion. The bathroom was clean, but the toilet took a good amount of effort to get it to flush. Room amenities include a Keurig with several options for coffee which was nice. The TV only has grainy analog channels. Never had that at any other Hilton before. The walls here are paper thin. I expect quiet after a long day of travel. I certainly don't want to listen to the next room's conversations, but had to the night I stayed here. The best part of this room is location, location, location. Food, snacks, clothing, and a bank are all just minutes away.

I would not stay here again.
